Easy Steps to Custom Fitting the TayCo XAB

Easy Steps to Custom Fitting the TayCo XAB

• Determine proper Hinge Setting
• Adjust the stirrup strap that runs underneath the shoe
• With knee at 90°, position the TayCo Brace in back to fit the sole-counter junction approximately 3/4" - 1" above the ground in back
• Tighten straps 1 and 2
• Adjust width of straps on the posterior portion on the uprights to fit the calf and lower leg
• Fit the uprights to conform to the patient's calf and lower leg
• If additional custom fitting is necessary, please see step 5 or the QR code for complete video instructions.

Note: If moderate to severe deformity, a provider must order
a custom-fabricated TayCo Brace, since an acute custom-fitted
TayCo XAB will not accommodate the deformity.
